hey, you know how yahoogroups transformed the internal vizage of all the yahoogroups making them look different and using more fonts? on the member list it has the somewhat chill underword of saying "offline" and so on blue print. i was looking at it yesterday on another yahoogroup, stunnedly thinking 'o, so these 4 or 5 of the members have their computers turned on, others don't? of course it gave me this imagining - since they hadn't just posted they were on other yahoogroups websites and so on like some sick scifi notion of the monitred world... in any case, there i was, in my overtion9 yahoocom account looking at a list exclusive to it, 's membership list because it said there were 3 new, so i was curious if anyone i'd mentioned it to had joined. unless in pseudonyms no but - with me online to be looking at it there my account was one of the new members with the infomercialish "offline" caption under it, as if i was obliquely spending my evening myriad other ways, in any case it was false so i'm just saying that stuff is meaningless in the new yahoo yahoogroups formatting
ironically as quick as email is the modum will soon be off perhaps it takes 15 minutes for the yahoogroup sites to receive indication of presence, or else the little information systems are meaningless often one is deceived by the antics of corporations john --- Reid Wood <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > I did participate (and have in the past).
