Just to set the record straight, We had a discussion on both Iuoma and Crosses about 2 years ago and concluded that Rein Rain is female; knew Ray Johnson, perslonally; has been around the mail art scene since the late 60's/early 70's... and was just as feisty and controversial back then as SHE is now!!
She did take out after Merlin, the moderator over at crosses, personally and quite virulenty. With malice afore thought...so to speak. Yes she is immensly creative but seems also a bit mentally unhinged at times. I befriended her when I first came to mail art, I even joined her Yahoo club, but then, myself, got viciously verbally attacked without having any idea what I had done to trigger this attack. I was confused and hurt and drew back from Rein Rain. And that is where it stands, for me, right now. I am going on vacation for a month but I will try to keep in touch.
