You could be the next one! Registration is easy and painless. The general idea of the system is as follows: Each chain shows a collaborative image making process, displayed like threads in a forum. Each link in the chain should be in some way a derivative of the previous image. Members can participate in two ways. 1) Add to a chain: Download the last image in a chain, work on it in the software of your choice, add, edit, collage, work your magic, then upload your new image to the same chain. 2) Start a new chain: Upload artwork, digital photos, scans, or other images of your own, with the understanding that you are inviting other members to start mutating the image. All images must be 640 x 480 jpeg files. Members are not able to upload a direct mutation to their own images, to encourage collaboration. A system of credits is in place to encourage growth of chains. Credits allow you to start new chains. You start with 2 credits, earn 1 new credit for every 5 images uploaded to other chains.
