Dear Wladyslaw, You are making an interesting observation. I have the impression that there was more communication between Western European mail artists and Central & Eastern European ones when the wall was still intact. Why? Maybe because we all felt the need for communication bigger and stronger. It was more essential, so we all did more efforts. After the wall came down we were "one" (in theory that is) and the attention to the exchange dropped.
If you see however the network as a true global one the real challenge is how to communicate with people in Africa and Asia (outside of Japan); how to involve them in communication, exchanges and projects.
