Franziska Block: hy everyone, i really enjoy to read your discussions. even if I never send mail art myself. I wrote about mail art in the GDR (the last big essay for my university degree in Siegen/Germany) and I am working on my Phd with the same topic (Mail Art in the GDR). But I am not only interested in the Mail Art in that old times, but in the lively mail art scene today and its wonderful works full of fantasy. Compared to neo-avandgarde art developements (which mail art is not, it is more), mail art is changing in taht way, that it is always frish and able to be seen an a coment to the time, it changes with the time and is therefor never "old-fashened" or "antiquated".
