(",) fair weather friends

How many of us wear masks in our internet correspondences. Are internet "friends" 'fair weather' friends only?   Dawn Amato  Ummmmm, this makes me think. I have only been on the internet since about 1992-3, and in that time have found many a friend through cyberspace. Many of which are mail artists. I believe that I have some seriously good, intimate and dear friends that use the internet as our communication. ALong with mail art I feel as if I "know" these folks. I do not consider them only fair weather friends. Many of my mail art friends were more supportive of me when I was going through my cancers than my near by/in town friends. I find this amazing! I also find that I have far more contact with many of my internet friends than my in the flesh friends. I also find this kinds odd. The internet is an amazing thing.....
