Hello all

In January 2006 I started the website mailart.org as a small side
project to show documentation for my mail art call. Since then I have
added a mail art calls area and a few other things.

I am looking to expand mailart.org in a few ways, the first being to
include the voices of other mail artists.

One way to do this is to have guest writers who have access to the
blog posting. There are many mail art blogs on the web, but I think
there are few that have multiple mail artists writing posts. Mail Art
message boards and lists like this one serve this purpose, but often
miss out on much of the new technology that comes along with blogs.

The blog structure allows for content to be distributed in a myriad
of new ways, like aggregating posts from a variety of pages into a
single unit like a MyYahoo page, or having new posts show up on a PDA
or cellphone.

It is very possible to have the posts from your own mailart blog
automatically appear on mailart.org, or maybe the answer is to give
some mailartists access to the posting interface itself.

I am still thinking about this stuff, but as an experiment I'd like
to try something like this soon. If you'd like to join in with me,
either as a writer or to give some ideas, that would be great.
