COMITY FOR THE CELEBRATION O THE BICENTENARY
OF STORNARELLA’S MUNICIPALITY
1808-2008
A flag is a cloth or another material with one o more colours and
drawings which represents a State, a local or regional community, a
party, an association, etc.
A flag is a symbol. It is a union of senses subtil in unifying the
subject and others, one community.
Why a flag for the Municipality of Stornarella?
Because a flag is able to relate the history, and accompany in the
present, and also give a stimulus to the future.
Because a flag unifies, represents the community and their history.
1. Works must have as topic “a flag for Stornarella”;
2. free technique;
3. free format (dimension 15 cm x 10,50 cm – postcard – format or
format A5 till maximum size format A4);
4. all the works must be stamped and and mailed, and must be signed
by the author whit year of realization; as will as the possible title;
5. works will not be send back;
6. deadline 30 september 2007;
7. exhibition of the works at Stornarella in octobre 2007, on the
occasion of a cultural ceremony;
8. works must be sent at the following address : Comune di
Stornarella – Assessorato alla cultura – Corso Garibaldi, 2 – 71048
Stornarella (Foggia) – Italy.
