Year and years ago when I worked at a local rubber stamp shop, arto posto sent the owner a huge box of mail art which them was women. What we did was to hang laundry line from the ceiling and clip the mail art to the line using laundry pins. We also had a couple of manaquines that we pinned mail art to. And yes, there were a few pieces we thought were quite objectionable, we just hung them higher! Check out this page at my site for some photos. http://www.dragonflydream.com/MailArt.html The other display I hug was at a local gallery. I was given the small bathroom in which to make a display. What I did was to hang a wide ribbon from the ceiling and then attach plastic sandwich bags that I filled with mail art. Folks could open the bags and take out the piece if they wanted. It was great fun! In my other mail art show I wove together a large amount of the postcards as a quilt. In this case all the postcards were the same size so this worked easily. Sorry, no photo of that yet. Soon, soon I promise. ![]() Dragonfly Dream www.dragonflydream.com gotta mail art call to post?
