A faster processor and increased RAM doesn't mean a thing if it is not utilized. I have a number of Android devices that could perform laps around the new iPhone, but in fact, the OS for the most part hampers this. Also, there aren't really any Android developers who can develop for optimal performance with increased specs due to the fragmentation of Android devices and specs across the board. Just some thoughts.
