I agree with you, and this is why HTC, is looking at this new android
upgrade to see if that's something that they would include... on their
newer phones.
also from what I have read, I understand that most third party apps, will
not be included, or run, on the new android 4.0
if this is true, this would lead me to think, what roll would mobile
accessibility, play on the new android 4.0
especially when it's being release with the all accessibility feature.
Once accessibility features are active, everything visible on the screen can
be spoken out loud by the standard screen reader, that's included with the
new android 4.0.
though, I am sure that code factory, is aware of this... and they're most
likely in the process of creating a version of mobile accessibility, that
would be compatible with this new android 4.0.

As far as htc goes, i wish they would leave htc sense out of it, it causes
nothing but problems.

Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich: When is it coming to my phone?
Google has announced the launch of the latest version of Android: Google
Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich, in Hong Kong on Wednesday - and with it
the shiny new Samsung Galaxy Nexus.
That’s all very well and good, but when is it coming to your Android
smartphone? Will the smartphone in your hands be getting an upgrade to
enjoy some of the new features like Face Unlock and the new Roboto font?
Samsung on Ice Cream Sandwich
Samsung has yet to issue an official statement as to which of the company’s
phones will be getting the new Ice Cream Sandwich update, however it has
confirmed to Engadget at the event in China that ICS (as it is being
referred to) will be landing on the Samsung Nexus S.
Google has always said that the Nexus range of smartphones will be among
the first to get any new updates and according to those at the event it is
going to be no different this time around. When that update will come,
however, is a different kettle of fish.
HTC on Ice Cream Sandwich
The official line from HTC to Pocket-lint is:
"We are excited about the latest update for Android, Ice Cream Sandwich,
and are currently reviewing its features and functionality to determine
our upgrade plans. Our goal for Android updates is to give every customer
an improved user experience, which means balancing each phone's unique
hardware, HTC Sense experience and the Android kernel. While our goal is
to upgrade as many of our recent devices as possible, we are committed to
maintaining every phone's performance and usability first. Please stay
tuned for more updates on specific device upgrade plans."
