I agree we make decisions based on that time. I'm glad all this has forced Nokia to take some steps. And while there might not be as many entertainmet apps for symbian, it's still a great platform as far as I'm concerned and still serves as my work horse phone. contacts are still much more quickly accessed and called than on either Iphone or android phones. I guess having said that, though I should say it's really a touch phone issue even more than the OS. It's still quicker and more efficient to call contacts using a phone with physical keys than an entirely touch phone, at least in my opinion having all three platforms. Anyway, for whatever the reasons, I'm glad Nokia is making an attempt. My personal bius, though, is I wish it had been Talks rather than CF. I like it better. I will try it though as soon as it's available since I just purchased a nokia 701 which has symbian bell on it and it isn't very accessible at the moment with either screen reader so I'm interested to see whether the release from CF is a full blown screen reader, IE, Mobile Speak or if it's sort of an MS lite version.

I am not upset, when I purchased mobile accessibility, there was no free option, and remember

that only at&t users can get this. Also, mobile accessibility is not required to use android, but it does make many things easier. Remember too that code factory is not giving away these products. At&t and Nokia paid them to develop or distribute these for free to end users. You need to make informed decisions at the current time, not based on what may happen in the future. As far as Nokia goes, this is something they should have done years ago when Symbian was in its prime. While it will be around for a few more years, it's a dying breed and does not have near as many apps as android.

Okay guys,
I've been one of the "better not say anything bad about codefactory" folks, but this new development really bothers me. So now, Codefactory is giving the exact same software we all paid $100 for to atnt customers for free, and it looks like all nokea users are now getting a free screenreader as well. Anyone else feel like it cheapens what we have by giving so many things away?

Best,
Chris
