Hi, Claudia:

You need to be logged into your Gmail on that site is because that’s the way
the website would know it’s you who’s logging into your phone.

When searching for mobile accessibility, on the website, and you find it, click
where it would say, “install”.

Your phone at that point would start receiving the download. Once the download
is completed, mobile accessibility, should start speaking.

Though, it may not, being that you have talk-back currently running at this
time.

But once you have m.a. installed, you can do the following.

Go to phone settings, arrow down to accessibility, place a check on
accessibility, and mobile accessibility, and uncheck talk-back, and you would
be running m.a. only.

And if you need any help with the settings, or any other problems, you might
come across, I or anyone else on this list will help you.

p.s. mobile accessibility is register to your Gmail, so it’s important that you
log into your Gmail first.

I hope this was helpful.

Good luck.

onto the phone, once I find it?
Thanks.

Why do I have to be logged into my Gmail acount, in order to search for apps?

  Hello, Claudia:

Being this is a mobile accessibility group, I would suggest for you to
download m.a. on to your phone.

You can do this via phone on the market app, or what you can do if you have
your Gmail setup on your phone already. Connect your phone to your pc… go to
this website:

  https://market.android.com/

Log in with your Gmail account that you have setup on your phone, and then
search for the mobile accessibility demo, and install it on to your phone.

Everything will be easier from that point on.

  Good luck.

  Hi All,

Well, I took the plunge and went & bought a Samsung Sidekick 4g this evening.
  But, I need major help.
I had the TMobile rep install a Talking Caller ID app., as well as Talkback
to get me started.
I don't know how to text, answer calls, end calls, dial, etc!
If anyone can give me suggestions, I would greatly appreciate it!

two come to mind, the Samsung sidekick 4g and the htc mytouch 4g
slide. There might be some new ones, you could look at T-Mobile's site
and see what android phones are available with a keyboard. If you are
on t-mobile and have the option of waiting another month a couple of
phones will be coming out and they might have the new ICS on them. You
could try that and though I personally want a keyboard myself, if Ice
cream sandwich is onboard and you can get to try one out in the store
first, you might like it and have all your options open to you. As I
stated I prefer a keyboard as well and wouldn't trust even a phone
running ice cream sandwich to be as accessible without one.

Hope those two phone recommendations work for you, but of the two, the
sidekick is the best in my opinion. My cliq2 isn't bad either though
opening up the keyboard for navigation has its drawbacks as well.

Hello,

I need to compare TMobile phones with android, but I also need it to
have a keyboard. Any recommendations out there?
