that is kind of a hard one to answer. I have had two differant android phones now, one that had a trackball, and the one I have now that has a keyboard. both phones have been differant. I will say for me anyway, it does make it easier to have a keyboard to dial during phone calls. the phone I have now, the transform ultra made by samsung you just open the keyboard, right arrow once to the dial pad button, press select on it, and I can use the top row as numbers, and the A, and S keys become the poud, and star keys respectivly.
