To answer your question, no. you are not able to remove any apps, that were
preinstalled into your phone.
Regarding Facebook, you can try to use it but it doesn’t work well at all.
Well at least not for now it doesn’t.’

I just got a Sidekick 4g and love it. Much better than the HTC I had. Just
some things. When an ap is pre instaled on the phone, is there any way to
get rid of it? I want to make more space and am finding that aps like
facebook that are on the phone can't be removed, anyone know how this is
done? Also, regarding facebook, is there a way to use it on the phone
without having to go to the websight?
