hmmm, well, yeah, you would need something installed, I would think as it
would need a tts to speak the icon to you like spiel, or talkback. now, if
I am wrong, I would hope someone would correct me on this one.

Actually, after I wrote my last message I realized I was referring to YOUR
podcast about EyesFree.

So, if I understand, you can use EyesFree with only MA installed, but if you
don't have MA installed, you need another screenreader/tts package to use
EyesFree?

Sorry if this is repetitive.

not sure who you are refuring too, when you said that you listened to there
podcast on eyes free shell, the differances between eyes free shell, stock
launcher, ma, launcher pro are very differant, and it depends on what works
for you, and what you can use, I have used eyes free shell with talkback,
and spiel, and it works either way. you can even use eyes free shell if MA
is the only screen reader you have installed and working if you so choose.

I hope this helps.

I listened to your podcast of eyesfree the other day.

Was that with "talkback" installed?

How is the shell different if only it and MA are installed?

You don't 'NEED' to have talkback installed, but it is handy. They can both
co-exist and it is personal preference on what you run for your home shell.
I leave all the home shells on my device, the sightlings can use the ADW
launcher and I can use either MA or eyes-free depending on my mood.

Morning all,

Just a quick question, actually two.

1. Can EyesFree Shell and Mobile Accessibility co-exist on the same device?

2. If I have the phone store guys install EyesFree at the store, does it
require anything else be installed?

I know MA works on its own.

Thanks

DG
