Every now and then, I get something like that. It usually happens if there is an attachment like a picture, or some one has a subject line. The SMS texting App doesn't handle this at all, but the stock message app does. I find that the stock message app is accessible on my phone, so if I don't see anything in the MA sms app, I go to the stock one.
