I took a picture of what I thought was a box of corn bread mix, and it turns
out thanks to googles, it told me it was cake mix!!! Isn't that awesome?

But like I," said, earlier it just will not find the barcode. Why I'll never
know. lol lol So if you point the lens, to the pack of gum it will read it
for you. I should say, It should read it for you.

you would point the camera lens to the item and then snap the picture of it.
but because google goggles, works best on a wifi, connection, it might be a
little bit before you get your answer.
try it out and let me know how it worked for you.
I hope that helps.
good luck.

Like for instance I want to know what kind of gum I'm getting from a store...I
don't have a camera button and was wondering if I point the camera lense at the
gum? Or another part of the phone.

I am not sure in what you mean, how to take a picture of something.
like a building, or a car, or tree?
because you would just aim the phone to the item, and snap a picture of it
with your cammra button that’s on your phone.
I hope that’s what you mean, if not please give me an example in what you ment
by your question.
