Hello, Claudia:

Try these steps to see if you can get your phone to work again.
First make sure that m.a. is your home screen, if not please make m.a. your
home screen and make it the default h.s.
Then check to see if your sounds are not muted or set to very low. You should
be able to find the sound-setting, under phone settings. In addition, check to
see if air plain mode is unchecked.
Then go back to the m.a. settings to see that you have the setting to answer
calls with the volume keys checked… and have the system call screen, unchecked.
While you’re in the m.a. settings check to see if the sounds profile is set to
normal.
Lastly, check the volume on your phone to see if the handset volume is very
low, also check to see If you have any Bluetooth devices that’s being picked up
by your mobile phone.
Regarding the lack of audio, on your handset, I would first try the steps
mentioned above, then calling your mobile phone from a home phone, and see If
everything previously mentioned would work, if the audio is still not working
then, I would suggest to call T-Mobile to see what they can do to get the audio
on your phone working again.
Good luck.
