Once you buy the MA App, it goes into your "my apps" which is a part of your google android market account. In other words, you only have to buy it once. As for the messaging app, I agree with you that they need to fix that, but as you said, it's a great app and works quight well and code factory trys to make sure that they update their products as often as possable.
