Hello, James:
Sorry, I thought, you were an advance android user.
This is why I suggested that app.
But not to worry, you didn’t offend me at all. I always say: “when in doubt,
leave it out”.
About talk-back:
It’s good to have a backup speech program, but just keep this in mine, do
not, have m.a. and any other speech program running at the same time,
because your phone would not speak at all. So make sure you would have
either m.a. or talk-back running.
Well, I hope you did get a chance to download the notes app. That app, works
very well, when you need to type a quick note.
Take care.
Good luck.

Hi Pedro
I really do want to thank you very much for the helpful suggestions. I
appreciate them a lot. I am feeling nervous about having installed
that booster app and then couldn't get far with it using MA and sounds
like something some bad stuff could be hiding in. It had a lot of
permissions and I wanted it to do its thing and was taking the
recommendation. I do not mean to offend you. I just became unsure if I
misunderstood and you had only found that one but didn't know more
about it possibly. If you have used it, do you have accessibility
suggestions with it? I am using MA right now, but plan to download
talkback soon as well.

Hello:
I am not sure what kind of phone you have, but I do know that some apps,
do
not work with mobile accessibility.
if you want to shutdown allot of the apps, that are running in the
background, go to
apps, settings, applications, and running applications, and shut them down
from there. for the most part, when your phone is locked, those apps,
wouldn't take up so much of your battery.
there are some apps, that you can download, and they will kill most of
those
apps, that are running in the background.
i have listed one at the bottom of this email, along with the site where
you
can download the app.
i have a note taker app, that works well with m.a. that's also listted at
the bottom of this email.
I hope that helps.
good luck.

Subject: [MA] Well I picked up a Motorola droid 4 (verizon) today and
havesome questions
Hi Everyone,
Well I have begun exploring in the android waters with an actual phone
in hand now. I got the droid 4 and installed the MA demo on it. One
huge concern so far as that it will not let me put it into "sleep
mode" from the shutdown menu when holding the power button and the
menu that comes up. It says that something is still running and I
can't figure out what. I killed everything that seemed unnecessary via
the task manager. Does MA cause this? Does that mea it will never go
into low energy use mode when the screen is locked? I really hope I
don't already have some faulty installation of something as I really
don't know how to reset and reinstall th entire system yet. Also, can
anybody recommend a good notes application that is accessible under
Android 2.3, in the case of this phone it is 2.3.6, but I'm guessing
the 2.3 relm of accessibility of course. It would be really nice if
the notes app could create and store notes in folders, but I don't
know if this is available. I also saw when doing some research on the
web that android has a clipboard for cut or copy and paste. Does
anyone know how and if we can use it? I saw a post on the web that
says you can use shift and arrow keys on many text fields or select
something from the menu which I don't see anywhere so far and then
click and move the arrows and click again to select and copy. I don't
know if MA removes this from menus or what might be the case.
