Hi, Been playing with my new xperia pro for a while and have a few questions.
I have found that a lot of processes seem to be starting when the phone starts, is there any way of preventing unused aps from starting? Also, am I correct in assuming that most of the stock aps cannot be removed? Is there any way arround this? I would like to make the device as efficient as possible to increase speed and battery life. Also, I have the ma screenreader as the system wide reader but how does this compare with the other readers on the market? Also, I am wondering about rooting the phone. Would this give me more control over running processes e.t.c. Any reason not to do this? I have purchased the phone outright and I am on a sim only contract if that makes a difference. Also, I use linux on my home pc and I believe that android is linux based. Also, I realise this is not all strictly ma related so can anyone suggest a list for the discussion of general android matters? So far I am enjoying the android experience but I really want to dig in to how it all works.
