being that both phones you maentioned, are samsungs, they have not been any new
updates on which samsung phones would get ICS, with in the first or second
quarter of this year.
I am always contacting samsung, and Boost mobile, to see if they get any new
updated information on these phones.

hello, folks Chris Stouton here, By now you probably know that I've been doing
research on what phone to buy. Well, one of the important things I forgot to
ask, is since I'm actually considering either the Samsung replenish, or the
Samsung transform ultra from the boost network, because they seem like the best
options over all, is will either of these phones be getting the ice-cream
sandwich upgrade. I've done some research on phones that already have the
ice-cream sandwich upgrade on Amazon.com, but most of those phones are going
for extremely high prices, I can't afford right now. I guess my question is,
Does anyone know weather or not the Samsung replenish, or the Samsung transform
ultra be able to get the ice-cream sandwich upgrade? and if not If I buy an
unlocked phone, how do I upgrade from the version of android the phone comes
with, to a more recent version of android? I have an unlocked Motorola charm
right now, and it has android 2.1. but I haven't figured out how to upgrade to
even 2.2. good thing my new purchase is going to have android 2.3 or I wouldn't
know what to do.
well, if anyone can give me info on this, I really would appreciate it, as it
will help me to make a decision on what to do when I finally do get my phone.
I don't really wanna have to buy another for a while, so any info would be
great.
