HI Steve,
I'm using an acer beTouch E210, which I purchased just over a momnth ago, it
has a touch screen which I can't get my head around, a qwerty keyboard which I
love, and a touch pad, which we had to set to least sensitive. I think I would
prefer buttons for arrows rather than the touch pad but I am getting used to
it, I tend to move too far or fast with it sometimes. Over all I'm managing
well, I'm not very techy, so I move slowly, learning one thing at a time,
getting comfortable with it before I move on to somethihng else.
Now what I love about the qwerty is the layout for the numbers. The letter f is
marked, and is also the number 5, the numbers are laid out like a regular phone
pad, so 1, 2, and 3 are on the e, r, t, keys, 4 5 and 6 are on the d f g keys,
7 8 and 9 are on the x c and v. Star is next to the 7, so on the z, and the
hash or pound is to the right of 9, so therefore on the b. The bottom row of
the qwerty is slightly out of line to a standard qwerty keyboard because shift
is on that row. Sorry, I Hope I haven't confused you totally with that
description.
I'm not sure if that model is being made now or not, but I really love the
number layout as I said, since it's in a standard phone pattern.
Cheers, Maggie.

True friends are like diamonds, precious and rare,
false friends are like autumn leaves, scattered everywhere.
