It does fine on my Milestone 2 running froyo, though this concerns the paid
version i.e. Voice Actions

I have been working with Jeannie for a few months now, and it’s the best.

The free version is good but the paid version is great.

You should download the free version, and see how you like it, and if you
want the upgrade to the free version, you can do it right through the app,
itself.

Once you get the paid version, the name might change from Jeannie to Voice
Actions, and it works allot better, especially now with all their latest
updates.

p.s. once you get the upgrade for jeannie, it doesn’t say under the
description, that it’s in the experimental stages.  in addition, if you know
anyone that uses siri, on the IPhone.4s, they would tell you that siri is still
in it’s experimental stages.

one more thing, unlike siri, jeannie, doesn’t have to be connected to
wifi, to worrk well.

    hope that helps.

    Good luck.

Â Â Â hey, folks Chris again, I was taking a look at a lot of different
apps, since I get unlimited data from boost, and I came across an app called
Jeannie that was on the s-vox website in they're app gallery. Supposedly it
makes your android phone something like apple's seery, where you can talk to it
and have it to do things like send text messages, locate different places like
restaurants and other places, just like the eye-phone. Only problem I see is
that it looks like it's in the experimental stages, but it looks like it's
going to be a good app in the future. My question is has anyone ever used this
app at all? Oh, and thanks for all your advice on gps apps. it seems like my
connections were pretty wrong on that navigon app after all. plus it costs $49.
Not something I'm willing to pay for since all of the gps apps seem to be
either inexpensive or free.
