if you are on your phone volume settings, no, the ringtone doesn't need to
play, though, it would be best that you have it play for you can hear the
difference in the sound volume.
to do this just move your arrow key up, until you hear the ringtone, you
have setup and then just move your arrow keys to the right, andyou should be
ableto hear the difference in the sound loudness.

hi all
when i go in to MA settings and press volume up on my ringtone it makes it
louder but it is also changing the speech volume of MA will it stay at the
setting i set if raise its volume or is the incoming ringtone not the
place to set its volume?
does that just play it at the volume i set at the time?
