ok, then in that case it's best to shut off that option.

yes :) but even though those settings in MA were set up you see in the
accessible email app of MA every time a new emial came in regardless of my
setting it kept alerting me.
in the phones g mail app i found a notification box i guess if i uncheck it
as the mobile accessibility app is linking to that i guess, it won't keep
alerting me and only refresh when i tell it to i.e. every fifteen minutes,
or 2 hours for example

no you don't have to do that, because it would use the defalt settings
that's on that screen when you set it up.
though, you are able to change it to get as many emails you want, and as
often as you want. view the settings again, and you will find those
options there.
HTH.
good luck.

i set it up but do i turn off notifications in gmail and then just use the
settings in MA to do it?
i.e. to push the email at certain times?

hello,
to get all your emails, on your m.a. home screen email app, you must set
it up first before trying to get yourr emails.
just click on the email app, on the m.a. HS, and then hit settings... and
follow the promps from there
HTH.
good luck.

Subject: [MA] email queries
hi all
I have the email synced under accounts and sync but here are the
oddities. when i use the main phone email client the email is not set up,
and i get the emailed pushed it seems, as soon as a new one comes in, yet
in the MA email client it is set for every hour or so, so why is this?
also my folder show inbox and then gmail 0 etc. don't see sent items.
when I go on to the PC they are downloading again i assume that is
because I need imap or something?
WIll
