well, i wouldn't recommend the 2.1, i have a 2.1 device and most of
the software is now being written for 2.2 and above leaving 2.1
behind. the device i have was supposed to receive a second update
when i purchased, but shortly after the purchase motorola and
t-mobile decided that it wouldn't update the device leaving me with a
device that will soon not be supported by most of the software on the market.
