Unfortunately, this did not solve the problem at all .... To
clarify, I
want my number row on my actual physical keyboard to allow me to enter
numbers on a webpage. There has to be a toggle somewhere, but I don't know
where to find it. Right now it says, "Jump by character, jump by word" etc.
Using the shift or alt gives me different navigation features.
This has been one of the reasons I have avoided the Web on my phone so
far ........ But it is time to deal with it .....

you will need to go to apps, settings,applications, manage applications,
arrow down to Mobile accessibility, Press enter on it and then clear
defaults. After that, if you are using MA as your home screen, you need
to press home, select use this as system default and then arrow up to MA
and enter. Now the browser will be disabled and a choice should appear.

I have a Samsung Epic, so it has a physical keyboard. When I try to
enter a number in the edit field to authorize the app (say typing in my
username and/or password, the navigation function for the MA browser take
over.
How can I disable this feature?
