Now that is one of the things I need to know. When you make a call and need to access an automated menu,, is there a way to do that. I often call my bank by phone which has the automated system, but I haven't figured out how to enter numbers while in a call. The T-mobile Sidekick 4G runs Android 2.2. I got mine back in July, and it didn't come with Talkback or a speech synthesizer. Also, many of the stock applications are modified, and range from hard to impossible to use. The phone would have been pretty much useless without Mobile Accessibility. With the software installed, it becomes much more usable. At least they didn't remove the setting to make the power button end calls. While there are some things I would like to see added to MA, it does what I need it to do for the most part. The main thing I'd like to see improved is to have the ability to dial numbers with the touch screen while in a call. This would make it unnecessary to use the stock phone app, which is pretty much useless. It would also eliminate the need to open the keyboard to deal with menu systems like voice mail. I also find that even if I have the phone up to my ear, if I bump it while on a call, it will switch to speaker phone. According to the MA manual, it's supposed to be a double tap, but it seems a bit too sensitive. It seems to me that the speakerphone function should be disabled when the phone is close enough to your ear to trigger the proximity sensor. _______________________________________________ ma_mailing mailing list [email protected] http://list.codefactory.cat/mailman/listinfo/codefactory.cat.ma_mailing _______________________________________________ ma_mailing mailing list [email protected] http://list.codefactory.cat/mailman/listinfo/codefactory.cat.ma_mailing
