Yes MA does speak outside of it's apps just make shore in settings accissability that both MA and accissability are both checked also if you have A select or enter key besides the 1 to answer the phone press 1 of those when the phone starts to ring and it should stop the ringer and tell you the name or number of the person that is calling hope that works good luck
