Since not everybody may have been on the list when I first submitted my
question relating to HTC window and MA, here's a recap of everything I did .
By the way, after all steps below were tried, my phone is finally finally
back to where it was almost two weeks ago. Hopefully, these steps can help
anyone else in a similar situation. Of course, some sighted assistance may
be necessary. Here are my steps; good luck to you too.

After you have set your phone to factory defaults, you must go in and
re-establish your account credentials with Gmail/Google, download the aps
you had previous-Mobile Access, Color ID Item Identifier, Bar Code Scanner.
Be sure your home screen is set to MA as default (hit Home and scroll to put
a check on the default action), and the two options under Apps, Settings,
and Accessibility are checked. For the Internet to be connected, make sure
under Wireless (under Apps, and Settings) has Mobile Network connected and
Data options are checked. For Email. Go to Mail under Apps and Settings and
choose Other (not Exchange), and enter the information prompted for; some
assistance possibly needed here). If you are still getting the email error,
go back into mail, after first going to Apps and settings, then, go to the
menu in Mail that asks for your password and enter this. Finally, ask for
automatically setting password and choose okay to save; thus, emails
beginning to download like they should. Hopefully, you will, then, get rid
of the error message about "no data and checking your Internet and email
account settings.
