Hi. It must take some doing? I even struggle to use a phone in myy free hand.
If you are responding to text messages! Then you have to slow down your walking
speed or come to a stand still. Hats off to those who don’t have to do either.

not only that, lets consider something, if you are just doing chatting, while
you are walking, it is so much easier to use a phone wich is much smaller than
a notebook, or even a laptop. smile grin.

That's what I thought and still do, yet the wave of the future is away from net
books/laptops and to smart phones and tablet devices.

  Dani,

The problem is that much of what is being complained about are limitations
that have existed since the beginning. An S MS client that spans multiple
messages, allows you to select links including multiple ones, allows for
inserting pictures and audio for M MS, and emoticons, a contact manager that
allows the assignment of ringtones, an email client that offers full imap and
pop3 support and isn't just limited to gmail, a web browser that allows for the
downloading of files, streaming of multimedia, accesses frames, flash content,
and displays all webpage content a Virtual d-pad on their keyboard. There are
so many free options that if Talkback or spiel offers braille support or if
Google through eyes-free offers it as a separate app, there will be little need
to buy Mobile Accessibility on phones running ICS or higher.

You know, not trying to be rude, but here's something to ponder. At least we
have a screen reader. We should be greatful for what we have. A year or so
ago, I never would've thought that something like this existed, and I am so
greatful to Cf. Everything needs work, but they're trying, and complaining
about it isn't getting anyone anywhere. So I just say, thank you to
Codefactory for giving this product to us.

That is something I emailed cf this morning about. More features. When
reading about updates, the only thing it said was braille support. while
that is ok and all, a lot of people will not benifit from that cause braille
devices are higher than they need to be and people just don't have monies to
spend on that sort of thing. Well, some don't anyway. Along with righting
on this list, I also incurrage u all to actually email cf directly. It may
get some ware and it may not but at least u tried.

You took the words out of my mouth. The last i heard, contacts were still
being synced with google weather you liked it or not and it still wasn't
possible to send an sms over 3 lines long. not to mention bugs with email
i.e not moving messages to the bin. If braille is the only item that's been
added for support just because the iPhone had it first, then its quite
disappointing. don't get me wrong, braille is a priority but don't be like
freedom scientific. adding more features and not fixing your existing bugs!

allows the use of a Braille display on Android!

After launching Mobile Accessibility in March 2011 and with more than 35.000
downloads worldwide, Code Factory has worked for months to make Braille
display usage possible with the product. Once more, we have listened to our
customers and turned their desires into reality.

motivated to keep improving this product and make the impossible possible:
add Braille support for the first time on this platform" says Eduard
Sanchez, CEO. "Our ambition is to keep improving our products and keep up
with the constant OS updates and add new features that add value to our
  products."

This free upgrade is available for all our customers, whether purchased in
Google from one of our distributors, the free download version of AT&T
Mobile Accessibility Lite from AT&T, or Wireless Accessibility from Sprint,
Boost Mobile and Virgin Mobile USA. It includes the following Braille
  features:

  a. Use the power of a Braille display in the same way as on a computer
and similar to what is available with Mobile Speak 4 and above.
  b. Enabling a solution for Deaf Blind users to be able to use Android
  devices for the first time.
  c. Ability to use various grades, including grade 1 / 2 and computer
Braille for both input and output.
  d. Option to disable speech when Braille is turned on, allowing users to
work in silent environments like meetings.

Devices of the following Braille device manufacturers are supported: Baum,
Eurobraille, Freedom Scientific, Handytech, HIMS, Humanware and Optelec.
