I'm not sure if this will be very helpful but there is a trick that
avoids using the keyboard. When you set up a contact to get your
voicemail, put in the number to call and then some commas and then yur
password. The commas delay the dialling and then it treats your password
as if you typed it. This is a useful trick for getting account balances
etc but I suppose with voicemail you might want to delete messages and
so on. Yet another reason why physical keys are best for everyone.
