candy, go to apps, settings, accessibility and make sure both accessibility and moble accessibility are checked. What probably happened is that one or both were unchecked. I don't recommend doing this without sight but I inadvertently turned off sounds, by clearing data in ma. I fixed this, and I will only say do this if your phone is a Motorola phone, go to apps, settings, say okay to the prompt that you are leaving mobile accessibility and if the phone becomes silent, arrow down about 20 times, back up two, choose enter, arrow down one time and choose select or enter twice. Now voice read outs is active and you can find mobile accessibility that you can check and then after mobile accessibility is running uncheck voice read outs. Note: this only works with Motorola phones, one other phones, it may work similar, but instead of voice read outs you could have zoom or maybe just mobile accessibility in that position. It is best to use sighted help with this though until you can memorize what is in that menu. Also, if that doesn't work, while in the menu, arrow up to the top, hit select, down one and select twice. I recommend doing it this way even if arrowing down three times would have placed you on Mobile accessibility because you could have something else in the way. Good luck.
