Can you power cycle your phone and get it to run? Can you get to apps, settings, accessibility and activate talk back? If the answer is yes to one or both of those questions, then it is possible that is all you need to do and then you can uninstall and reinstall ma yourself. You shouldn't need a new phone but I am thinking that the phone updates are causing your phone to freeze. try taking it to Verizon, have them wipe your phone, going back to a factory reset condition and reinstall everything. Make sure you backup your contacts, sms, and everything else you want. There are apps in the play store to do this. You aren't rooted I don't think, but make sure you don't require root to use that app but backup your phone and then restore your phone after the factory reset.

This is the second time this has happened in a month, whereby updates downloaded to my phone cause MA to act strange and not respond. The only answer I can find is to take it to Verizon and uninstall MA then reinstall it and put back MA as home screen. I use the Motorola Android 4. Also, what happens is that when I am trying to unlock my phone, the screen freezes. Is there anything I can do to keep from having to reinstall MA once a month or so? Do you think I need a new phone because of the locking issue? Thanks.
