I decided to try Mobile Accessibility again after the update, and have
found what I think are a couple of bugs. Wonder if anyone else has found these.
First off, if I try the check system notifications item in the menu, nothing
happens. It takes me right back to the home screen in MA. Interestingly
enough, if I am outside of MA in another app, I can read the notifications if I
find the top middle of the screen and find them, then it puts them in a list
like I’ used to see the last time I used MA.
I’m running a Galaxy Nexus from Sprint, running Android 4.1.1.
The other bug I’ve noticed is in the phone’s settings app, not the MA settings.
In that app, there are 29 items, but not able to get MA to scroll through all
the items. The window is dived into two parts, 19 settings, then a section
marked “Personal” which contains the settings for the different things like
Email, Dropbox, about phone, developer options, etc. I can get to the bottom
and top of the list with my bluetooth keyboard, but can’t find a consistent way
for MA to scroll up and down. I know talkback does this effortlessly, because
have used it exclusively from April until last night. I just think these
features should be working correctly before a product is released for
consumption. Any thoughts?
