Hello,
The instructions regarding m.a. crashing… was based on using a Bluetooth. I
am not sure if this is what you’re referring too, but if so they are listed
below:
When m.a. crashes… hit your enter, or ok, key, and the phone should vibrate
twice before m.a. starts speaking again. If your phone is not responding,
then hit your menu key twice, then use your arrow key up and down… you
should hear m.a. say: “ok button”. Hit on ok, via tapping the screen or
hitting your enter/ok, button. Then your m.a. should start speaking.
To answer your second question:
Getting your phone to bring up the prompt, that says:
"Use by Default for this action"
Whatever app, that you are looking to use as the Default, and the options
are not popping up, then what you need to do is release the Default settings
that app is currently set to… and then you would be able to choose a
different setting when opening up that app. To give an example, if you are
looking to use the m.a. web browser as the default browser, but your phone
is set to the android browser, then you would need to do the following:
From the m.a. home screen, Go to apps, settings, applications, manage
applications, then click on all, and then scrawl down until you find
browser, hit enter, and then click on clear default, and you should be ok
from there.
I hope these instructions help.
Good luck.

This is a follow-up message, as yesterday, Pedro was going to give a
response to my "MA Freezing Issue", but the particular issue of MA
Newsletter, got cut before Pedro could respond to me. What I mentioned the
other day was that I was really needing the steps where you do something
with menu and okay to get MA back whenm it suddenly chrashes or freezes. It
can be difficult to restart my phone when MA times out. Thank you Pedro and
anyone else who can respond to my question.

Hi guys, I was thinking about buying CF's music player app. Is it a good
app? Is it worth the money?

Hello gang:
Thanks for all of the contributions on my previous post. I went ahead and
grabbed the Galaxy S-III. this is my first touch-screen phone only and the
learning curve is looking steep. Can anyone help with general usage of the
phone: receiving calls, making calls, navigation, enough to get me going?
I had sighted assistance to turn Talkback on. so, I have speech.
Thanks.

did you turn touch to explore on?
if so a single finger explores the screen, a two finger split up moves down
a list that doesn't fit on a page, a two finger split down moves you back
up, a two finger swipe right turns back a page and a two finger split right
turns the page forward. Double tapping launches the app your finger is on,
a double tap and hold opens a menu or lets you drag the item to somewhere
else on the page or to another page either left or right. Go into
accessibility and turn on allow Google to download scripts to enhance web
page accessibility. from the home screen, find and double tap the phone
icon, tap menu, find and double tap call settings, find and double tap
answer/end calls and double tap to check both power button to end calls and
answer calls using the home button.
Now when in a call, instead of locking the screen, you can hang up with a
press of the power button and when a call comes in, tapping the home button
answers it. a two split finger continuous up and down, or down and up
changes reading modes. Google talk back gestures to get other talk back
gestures to open notifications, read whole page, etc.
That is basically it, you will be good from there and can explore at will.
oh, if you haven't already done so, go to system settings and about phone,
check for system updates and take them. Jelly bean is awesome.
good luck and ask more when you need to.
