I bought this app today and just wanted to report that it is totally
accessible, at least with my phone and the current version of MA.
This app will alert you of advisories, watches, and warnings from The
National Weather Service. You can set it for your current location or
define a location. You can have a different alert sound for advisories,
watches, and warnings. You can select to have it sound the alert once or
to continue until you dismiss it.
From within the app, once an alert is received, you can tap or press
enter on the alert and the details are read by MA.
You can also select the type of alert to be notified for tornado,
flooding, hurricane etc.. or there is an option at the top for all.
Its $1.99 and so happy to find an app that does these alerts that is so
accessible. The alert is also placed in your system notifications.
I'm using the current version of MA on the older of the motorola photon
phones running gingerbread and on Sprint.
