Depends on whichemail client you’re using. You mayhave to turn it off there.

Hi,
For the life of me, I can’t figure out how to turn off my e-mail notifications?
I am using a Samsung Sidekick 4G with Ma, and I go into applications, then
settings, then notification pop-up, and I uncheck notifications and enter on do
not send e-mail notifications, but I still get them incessantly.
I initially had this turned off and now want that ability back.
