We have all seen tidbits along the way talking about various apps to assist us with vision challenge. They have been speech related and not speech related. I want to tell you about an exciting alternative in speech called GeorgiePhone. I am just merely trying it out. So far I feel more comfortable navigating the touch screen better. Georgie was and is created in London, England. However, it is starting to gain in penetration in the USA. The Kemps are two of the main people in the development and sale of the app. You can download and try from the Google Playstore by Searching GeorgiePhone. Yes, it does cost $300.00 However however, when you read about the app from http://www.screenreader.net, you will fully understand why Android users are now or can be now up there with IPhone users. I can't close without saying enough great things about Code Factory either. Without them, people would have had no choice for quality speech programs as well. I am grateful to Mobile Access, and GeorgiePhone, as they put everyone else to shame. Other packages for Android are too robotty for me.
