You need to double-tap on the item you want to read.
It is however possible to use MA to read Gmail. You need to set up your
account which is quite easy by going through the step. It made my work a lot
more easy to buy a bluetooth keyboard for complicated tasks.

I am using Mobile Accessibility quite a lot, but find it not workin well
on email. Then I prefer Talkback. However the gestures in Talkback do
not seem to work as stated. I am running Android 4.1.1 if it has not
been updated to 4.2 (I do not know how to find it). It seems as the
