if it is the first time you have used it, and haven't set it up yet, use 
two fingers, not together, and tap and hold until the TalkBack tutorial 
starts.  This only works in Jellybean.  Otherwise you will need sighted 
assistance.  The drawing of the rectangle that ice cream sandwich uses 
isn't that easy and so Jelly bean users have this second option.  Give 
it a try.
