I think the Humanware product you are referring to was Oratio.

Oh, didn’t know they discontinued making it. Another reason, not to risk
BlackBerry. Again, I am going touchscreen and keeping Georgie option for
speech.

Hello,

Humanware used to have a screen reader for Blackberry, but I think they
discontinued it. I have tried to contact Blackberry about accessibility for
the blackberry q10, but can’t get much information either way. If you find out
anything, I would like to knoww.

Thanks Jim

I'm sure this was already discussed but what about blackberry? Are they good
phones? And do they have a screen reader?

Yes, you are right about that. I will say too that IPhone really isn't that
great as it once was. Apple needs to come up to standard more with where
Android is. Technically, throughout the worls, more people use Android. I
am glad that Georgie is here and is a much better speech package to work
with Android.

Maybe one in five people would buy the iPhone-q if one were made. but the
profit margin would be smaller and there overall share of revenue from the
sales of smart phones would be less so they never will make one. That is
unfortunate because there are people that would
 prefer
one.

If I were sighted, I might give the Blackberry Z10 a try. The Relay

However, it is a real shame that manufacturers are not making the
high-end phones with a keyboard. I wonder how well Apple would do if
they made an IPhone with a keyboard and one without. Which would be
the most popular? I suspect we'll never know the answer, but can only
speculate. One of the greatest aspects about the Android platform is
that is still offers choice. How long we'll have it is debatable.
