I have an Lg Mach, and I don't have that problem. I have noticed that the contacts app refuses to close after I use it and always stays open until I restart my phone. Same with the phone app. Its really annoying, but I can answer and end calls just fine with my volume keys, and the power button to end the call. If you are working with the lg Mach, have you heard if its getting jellybean? As no one seems to know.
