I have used Samsung Galaxy SIII for half a year and use MA quite frequently.
You can turn off Talkback by entering Accessibility and select MA. There
you turn it off by klicking the icon in the right upper corner. After
that You can turn on Talkback and the system voice, which has been
selected, takes over.
If a blind user wants to do it he must turn on Talkback before turning
off MA.

there's a way to temporarily turn off ma and use s voice which comes
with the phone or if you cabn mute ma while using s voice
