I am hoping that mobile accessibility improves in the future to support
version higher then 4.1 and 4.2. there r some features that work on 4.3 but
some thingss do not so I am a bit frustrated with mobile accessibility.
there are features I do like about it. I like the fact that mobilie
accessibility has only one home screen. I like the fact that there is quikc
navigation in the app drawer. I do like the web browser. I do like the voice
recognition feature of mobile accessibility. I do like the volume buttons to
answer calls. What I do not like is that I cant turn off features that I
don’t use like I have a third party caller id that works much better then
mobile accessibility and is more feature rich then the mobile accessibility
caller id its enhanced sms and caller id. I can have it announce the caller
id more hten once, I can use the app tto lower the volume when the caller id
is speaking and features llike this and so then I get double speaking of
mobile accessibility caller id and my third party app whih I would like ot
use instead of mobile accessibility caller id. I would like to turn that
off. I like the ability to use a third party email client which I cant with
mobile accessibility like Aqua mail. I wish that aqua mail is supported in
the future. I wish that the mobile accessibility could have the ability to
have an accessible office suite like making quick office more useable to use
with mobile accessibility since Google has now acquired them. Please Mobile
accessibility developers take some thing under consideration and make the
necessary improvement. I know that the last time the screen reader suite was
updated last year but improve it further and take it to the next level as
far as innovation goes.

It is interesting to read about the new MA screen reader for Windows 8. If
compared with the Android the access is quite limited as MA can be used in
two different ways and make a lot of things accessible with Android and
Talkback.

Who knows what will happen in the future.

        Hello,

While I am thrilled that some access is now possible, this is still
just a halfass solution from Microsoft. Shame on them! Perhaps they'll work
with CF on developing a fully integrated solution, while this app will get
us partially there in the interim.

        Thanks,
        Blake
