I have now installed the latest version of Mobile Accessibility. Due to some very negative remarks, appearing on this list, I would like to make some comments:

1. First of all I was very glad to get the Icelandic version working quite well.

2. The MA runs quite well with Talkback on JB 4.3. If the MA-screenreader is running together with talkback, there are some issues: Some apps do not function well, i.e. Ideal Group Reader and K-mail which is almost unusable. Then you need 3 tabs to activate some apps where 2 tabs ar needed if MA is used independently.

3. MA works quite well as a menu with Talkback. the drawback is that some of the specially designed Codefactory apps are not working at all then: The email proapp and the internet browser.

4. When using MA either as a menu or screenreader, the programs settings, settings and the notes work quite well and give you a lot of access to the settings of your phone, the list of all your programs and an easy to use note-taker. I am usin this app at meetings as it is much easier to bring your phone with you than the labtop.

I am in many ways satisfied with Mobile Accessibility. The main weaknesses are the pforgrams which do not work with MA but go quite well with Talkback.

I am looking forward to the next step.

Best regards,

Arnthor Helgason
