Hello everybody Reading between the lines of what I see in various reliable sources on the Internet, I think we can expect Lion to go public early next week. It will be available in the App Store and Apple's "Switch" programme will be effective again. Meaning that, if you have bought any qualifying Apple hardware within 90 days of the release of the OS, you will be entitled to a free copy of Lion. That's my understanding anyway.
Qualifying hardware being, as I read it, any iPod or iPad or iPhone, plus any Mac computer. The issue of bootable media is still one I'd like to know the answer too. But I'm sure Apple will make it all clear in due course.
