Adobe has released another unfinished version of their "Digital Editions" epub & pdf reader application. They are slowly -- and I emphasize the word *slowly* -- adding VO support to this product. I'm interested to hear if folks are finding any accessibility improvements in the latest version. I found no improvements over the previous version, and the following issues still exist as far as I can tell: VO still restarts when attempting to interact with a page. It still doesn't seem possible to navigate reliably -- or at all -- by anything smaller than a page. They have chosen not to label the same unlabeled toolbar buttons from the last release. The app whent into a non-responsive state several times in my initial testing, which simply involved trying to read the 8 page epub guide installed with the app.
